Countless artists over a great number of years have focused on regeneration in life/life and death, whether this be in dust, the tree of life or simply directly on life and death, Some examples ranging from Piet Mondrian's tree of life, Gustav Klimt's life and death, to a variety of Damien Hursts works or Xu Bing's Where does the dust itself collect.
I myself find it fascinating that space dust, which is present on our roof tops, which makes up part of us, it is where our whole Earth originated in creation, and we are surrounded by it outside of our atmosphere, so of course fragments will penetrate into and fall onto us... New dust or old dust, is there a difference?! (A little side question). is what we return into being... We are dust... I find that profoundly intriguing.. The mixture of science and philosophy are almost magical; it is easy to see why some individuals spend their lifetime studying and exploring these areas, where there is an endless quest for further information and never-ending, evolving questions...
